Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using PeopleHQ, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms, you may not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including administrators, employees, and trial users.
2. Use of the service
You may use PeopleHQ only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the service to transmit unlawful, harmful, or unauthorised content, or to interfere with the security or integrity of the platform.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at security@peoplehq.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Subscription and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in your order. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice; continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
5. Data ownership
You retain ownership of all data you upload to PeopleHQ. We act as a data processor on your behalf. Upon account termination, you may export your data; after 90 days we will delete it from our systems in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual property
PeopleHQ and its content, features, and functionality are owned by PeopleHQ Ltd and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our platform without our written consent.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PeopleHQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for material breach of these Terms. On termination, your right to use the service ceases and we will process your data deletion request.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
